Child Abuse

Child abuse is any deliberate action, such as physical, sexual, psychological harrassment towards children. It is usually done by a parent or guardian.

This article will talk about the types of child abuse and analyse whether this action is against the Australian law orsatisfactory with the rights of the parent or guardian.

According to the rights of children, if any children at home, school, childcare or friend's house suffer any kind of abuse by anybody, it is against the law and the offender will be arrested and charged with breaching the common law of the country.

Physical abuse, including: slapping, kicking, hitting, burning, throwing are considered to be on the list of offences which any person can be condemned of these crimes.

Psychological abuse can consist of: teasing, ignoring, yelling, rejecting,family violence, and so on to affect a child's health.

Sexual harrassment is said to be any act or threat towards a child under 18 years of age. Inappropriate sexually,and intimate touching and any deliberate sexual act with a child.

When a child faces any type of these abuses, the child has the right to complain and report to the authorities which must hear their voice and protect them by law.

It is important to protect the rights of children. However,parents and guardians have rights if a child does something wrong.The child will be punished by moderate punishment according to the rule of guardian's rights.
